Terms of Use

1. License

Stoqd is provided to you under a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for your own non-commercial use on devices you own or control. You may not redistribute, reverse-engineer for commercial purposes, or resell the app.

2. Your Content

Recipes, photos, and other content you create or import into Stoqd remain yours. Because Stoqd stores your content locally on your device, you are responsible for any backups you may want to keep.

If you import recipes from third-party sources, you are responsible for respecting the copyright and licensing terms of the original publisher.

3. AI-Generated Output

Stoqd uses AI services to parse receipts and recipes. AI parsing can be inaccurate. Always review parsed items and ingredients before relying on them — especially for anything safety-critical such as allergens, dietary restrictions, or medication interactions.

4. Disclaimers

Stoqd is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The app does not guarantee accuracy of parsed receipts, parsed recipes, barcode lookups, nutritional information, or ingredient deductions.

Stoqd is not a food-safety, dietary, or medical tool. Do not rely on it for decisions where accuracy is critical.

5. Third-Party Services

Stoqd uses third-party APIs (Google Gemini, Open Food Facts, Go-UPC) to provide certain features. Your use of those features is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of those providers. See the Privacy Policy for details.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tyler Judson is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of Stoqd.

7. Termination

You may stop using Stoqd at any time by uninstalling the app. These Terms remain in effect with respect to your prior use.

8. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of Stoqd after changes constitutes acceptance.
